Hammocks

• If you want to use your hammock mainly at home, choose a firmly, durable one made of coloured cotton.
  
• If you want to laze around at your destination, go for a light, compact one in parachute fabric.
• Would you prefer to exchange your tent for a hammock? Then look for adventure hammocks with integrated mosquito netting.
• Do you prefer a hanging chair for your terrace or in the children’s room? This is also a nice, relaxed option!

Most hammocks can be easily hung between two trees or affixed to a special hammock stand with the supplied accessories. You can also hang a hammock indoors or on your terrace by attaching it to a pole or wall ring. Did your hammock not come with suspension accessories included? You can always buy them separately.

You can calculate this by dividing the length of the available space by two. If your two trees are four metres apart, suspend the hammock at two metres. When hanging, also consider the elasticity of the fabric; parachute fabric will sag a little more than firmly cotton. 

A single person version measures approximately 120 cm wide and is 200 cm long. A double hammock is at least 140 cm wide and over 220 cm long.
