Wash and waterproof your gear yourself
Do you throw your outdoor clothes in the washing machine with normal clothing? Don’t! Use a technical detergent and then impregnate (make water repellant) your clothing afterwards. Maintenance products from Grangers or Nikwax are perfect for this. A regular detergent is guaranteed to lose the waterproof qualities from your waterproof jacket or trousers.
Technical gear demands different maintenance methods. But don’t let that put you off: if you follow our tips, nothing will go wrong. Hiking boots, ski gear, down jackets, camping gear, cycling or running clothing: whatever it is, we’ve got your back!
Technical repair service for outdoor clothing
Has a zip on your waterproof jacket given up the ghost? Have you found a rip in your Gore-Tex jacket? How about that broken fastener on your favourite backpack? Or maybe there’s a hole in your sleeping mat? Our technical clothing repair service knows what to do.

You don’t have to throw away your shoes because of a loose lace loop or a scuffed sole. On the contrary. A small repair or serious fixes: we can give your loyal walking companions a second wind.

- Once your item has been repaired, we will mail you with the good news: your beloved gear is waiting for you in your A.S.Adventure Store. Ready for a new adventure!
Good to know: If you are not an Explore More member and you do not have a proof of purchase from A.S.Adventure, a one-time minimum fee of €25 will be charged, which will partly cover transportation and handling costs.
Retouch service
Maybe you want your new (outdoor) trousers to be a few centimetres shorter, or maybe your new summer dress needs taking in; we can take care of that too. Ask the shop staff to pin the garment for you, and we will send it to our workshop. When your item is ready, we will notify you by phone so you can pick up your product at your A.S.Adventure Store.
