Ordinary maintenance products are not suitable for technical materials. They may contain ingredients that will damage the waterproof membrane of your shoes (such as Gore-Tex and Futurelight). In addition, ‘ordinary’ maintenance products can leave behind residues that actually attract water droplets. In fact, that’s exactly how you get the complete opposite effect!
All hiking shoes that you have ever bought at A.S.Adventure are welcome. Do you have a pair that you didn’t buy at A.S.Adventure, but the brand is still in our range? Then you can also bring these shoes in for maintenance.
What are the prices?
Prices depend on the type of material of your hiking boots. A pair in leather, suede or nubuck requires more care and therefore costs a little more.

Your shoes will be ready for you again in your nearest A.S.Adventure store one to two weeks after drop-off.
Our experts work in three steps:
• Waterproof shoes are first cleaned on the inside.
• Then we also clean the outside thoroughly.
• Lastly, we re-impregnate your shoes to restore their watertightness and breathability. Leather shoes are first fed with a liquid conditioner or wax.
We use the environmentally friendly and FPC-free products from Grangers for all shoe maintenance.
No, that’s not a requirement. As long as your shoes are from a brand that is in our range, we are here to advise and assist you!

No, A.S.Adventure offers you a two-year warranty on all your purchases in any case. That doesn’t change, but thanks to the maintenance service, you can enjoy your product for a lot longer than two years.
No, you should not bring in shoes that are, for example, still covered in mud or wet. Your shoes should be dry and ‘brush clean’.
If necessary, you can already remove the laces and insoles.
The cleaning product and wax will temporarily darken your leather hiking shoes. This will disappear by itself and your shoes will look like new again.
Do you have shoes made of nubuck or suede? If this material has started to dry out, our shoe experts will feed it with a leather conditioner or wax. Keep in mind that this will change the look of your shoes. We brush the leather back using a soft brush especially made for these sensitive materials to retain its natural, soft look.
We want your (new) hiking shoes to last as long as possible, which is why you can contact the A.S.Adventure Warranty – Care – Repair Department for various maintenance services and also repairs.
Our service does not stop with your purchase; we offer full service and greatly believe in the importance of correctly maintaining your product, so that you can enjoy it as long as possible. That also fits in with our sustainable mindset: service meets sustainability.
In the exceptional case that your hiking shoes show a defect after maintenance, we will see if this damage can be repaired free of charge. If a repair seems impossible, we can offer you a voucher of the purchase price. A refund is not possible.
